Our name reflects the deep value we give to our land. Lamarossa Trulli & Suites takes its name from the local Contrada of Monopoli where the property stands, nestled between the green of the countryside and the blue of the sea, the very colours that paint Puglia’s most iconic postcards. A property that has belonged to our family for generations, lovingly renovated to offer an experience of refined hospitality, all while preserving its original character and timeless charm.
Thanks to meticulous restoration work, the trulli and farmhouse of Lamarossa have been brought to life, perfectly balancing architectural tradition, modern design and high-end amenities. The interiors we have designed for hospitality, along with the panoramic terraces and outdoor spaces, stand out for their elegant harmony, where the timeless charm of stone meets the magic of modern comfort. Every detail is crafted to surprise and delight, weaving together past and present without a trace of nostalgia.
A cosy family welcome
The property is managed by our family, led by Mary who has always worked in the tourism industry, hospitality and catering, who is nowadays also an official guide at the Castellana Caves. Our strength lies in her diligence and in the teamwork that allows us to combine our skills and provide our guests with the efficient services they deserve in a luxury B&B. We’re a friendly family, always ready to share the beauty that surrounds us, give good recommendations and satisfy our guests’ wishes. In the bonds we create, we ensure that everyone, from the first contact at check-in to the last one at check-out, takes home the memory of an extraordinary experience, defined by a harmony of sensations, scents and colours.
From Monopoli towards Puglia’s treasures
Lamarossa Trulli & Suites takes its name from the district of Monopoli where the property is located. In fact, Monopoli has long been known as “the village of the 99 districts”, although nowadays there are 91, spread around the historic centre that opens directly onto the sea. Thanks to its strategic location, from Monopoli it is easy to reach the most beautiful beaches of the Apulian coast as well as well-known destinations such as Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Ostuni, Castellana Grotte, Conversano, Bari and the Itria Valley.
